Eye Witness, A Student Of Dowen College, Speaks On Sylvester’s Death

An eye witness has described what occurred to Sylvester Oromoni, a late Dowen college student, in great detail.

According to a child who claims to have been present in the room at the time of the occurrence, Sylvester was allegedly beaten up by some senior students. He stated that the boys came in and turned off the light as they were gisting and playing, beating Sylvester till he fell out of his bed.

They cautioned Sylvester and the other lads in the room not to tell anyone about what had happened. This was after they had finished thrashing him.

According to the boy, Sylvester complained the next morning that he couldn’t walk, and they were forced to report the event to school authorities. He claimed that they had been hushed by the school officials and that he had been injured while playing football.

Of course, this eyewitness had demanded anonymity. While sending Sylvester’s sister sympathies, he offered an account of what had happened that night in Sylvester’s chamber.
