Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the AGCAE PhD and Masters Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a sub-Saharan African country or a permanent resident. South African citizens are also eligible.
- Masters applicants must apply for the MPhil in Development Finance (coursework and thesis-based).
- PhD applicants must apply for a program within the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at Stellenbosch University.
- Only students who have submitted an application to study at Stellenbosch University are eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship Benefits
- The PhD scholarship provides funding of R250,000 annually for three years.
