Those killed at Lekki Toll Gate deserve justice – Falz

Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has said that the victims of the October 20, 2020 Lekki Toll Gate massacre deserve justice.

Falz, who was a leading voice during the # EndSARS protest, stated this in an Instagram post following the panel’s report.

He also asked that the recommendations of the panel be fully implemented.

“I can’t believe these monsters legit made us think that we were mad. Something that we watched on Instagram live Anyway, the panel report is out now, and it is “clear as day,” he said.

He added that it is never an option for them to give up at any point.

All these recommendations must be implemented fully. The least that these innocent souls deserve is justice! ”

The report the Lagos State # EndSARS panel submitted to the state government on Monday fingered the Nigerian Army as the culprit in the Lekki Toll Gate massacre.

The panel had recommended the outright dismissal of the officers who carried out the dastardly act of snuffing life out of the peaceful protesters.

The panel also recommended that every 20th of October should be declared toll free as long as the toll gate exists to honour the fallen heroes and that the toll gate be renamed # EndSARSTollGate, making it a memorial site.
