BREAKING NEWS: Lagos #EndSARS Panel Report is Fake News – Lai Mohammed Reacts
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammed, has called the Lagos State panel’s report on # EndSARS “fake news.”
He announced this at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
The nine-member panel had in the leaked report said that not less than nine people were killed at the Lekki toll plaza when the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Police unleashed mayhem on the peaceful protesters on October 20, 2020.
Lai Muhammed had vehemently denied that no one was killed at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Mohammed, however, has described the reports as “tales by moonlight.”
