Four People Killed By Bandits, Loot Community In Katsina.

At Barawa community, in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, 9pm Sunday night, there was an incident that occurred there; Gunmen suspected to be bandits raided the place killing three people and injuring several others in that community, they looted household items and rustled dozens of domestic animals, this continued until 10:30pm that same Sunday.

According to unknown sources, it was discovered that these gunmen (suspected bandits)  were about 100 in number and they stormed the community riding motorcycles and holding sophisticated weapons.

They moved from one house to the other,  seizing anything of interest including monies, handsets, motorcycles and domestic animals.

One of the residents narrated what happened, saying, the bandits operated for about an hour plus while the residents were trying to protect there lives and properties and also trying to gather the necessary data on those affected and items or animals that were rustled.

According to him, “Our people were met with violence and confusion yesterday night in Barawa community, 10 kilometers from Katsina state capital where bandits numbering about 100, stormed the area and wrecked havoc from 9pm to 10:30 pm.”

Howevr, fortunately, before the time of this report, it was discovered that security operation s were being carried out to rid them of bandits and related criminals. Nonetheless, the community, were still to receive more info on the matter.
