Nigerian filmmaker and actress Mary Njoku has said that if Nigeria was qualified for the World Cup, it would have been a distraction to Nigeria as the cases of insecurity rise across the country.
Commenting on the attacks on the Abuja-Kaduna train and a Kaduna airport attack, Mary reminded Nigerians that the insecurity in Nigeria is alarming and is rising day by day.

The filmmaker also thanked God that Nigeria didn’t qualify for the World Cup, adding it would be a distraction and also told Nigerians to put pressure on the government to do something about the rising insecurity in the country, before the situation becomes worse.
