The latest interrogation is something that the businessman described as a challenge that he is facing.
In November 2021, the Nigerian corruption police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Obi Cubana, but he did not face any legal problems in the case at that time.
“In growth, in life, people must face certain challenges. I am facing my own now. I think that the thing which saddens me really well is that I was in detention for four days and three nights.”
He said he is sure that the NDLEA has the ability to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter as they would do their job well as professionals.
“I know that if they cleared me, they would allow me to go; no witch hunting, nobody would be after me.”
He added that he had never felt so low in his life, and also added that he had made a covenant with God that he would never be involved in drugs or sponsor that kind of business because it destroys generations and anyone can be a victim, including his children.
