Information About Sani Dangote’s Burial Revealed!

The burial of the brother of Africa’s richest man, Sani Dangote, will take place in Kano State.

Sani Dangote died in the United States of America on Sunday, November 14th, 2021, after battling with colon cancer.

This was revealed by his family friend, Abubakar Dalhatu, who spoke with BBC Pidgin. Sani Dangote’s grandparents, who have been family friends with the Abubakar family for many years, said they were expecting the body of Sani Dangote to arrive in Kano State before noon today.

But it was later revealed that because of delays in the documentation of the body of Sani Dangote, His body has not left the US since this afternoon.

This means that it could take some time before his body arrives.

Funeral prayers will be held immediately in line with Islamic teachings.

“This is a huge loss to the family because Sani Dangote is a very important member.” Since Monday, people have travelled to meet Hajiya Mariya, Sani’s mother, to console her. Abubakar said.

“It is only her who knows what she is going through at the moment, not forgetting her wife and children.” He added

Abubakar Dalhatu said the late Sani, who was 61 years old, had a wife and eight children.

He added that Sani’s brother, Aliko Dangote, will go to the US to escort Sani’s corpse back to Nigeria and to his hometown in Kano state, and other people who are expected to attend the burial, like state governors, ministers, and top businessmen, will follow him.
