MohBad: “I would have di£d in the hands of my former record label, Five Star Music” – Harrysong
Harrysong, the renowned Nigerian singer and instrumentalist, known by his stage name, Harrysong, has spoken out about the challenges he faced when he attempted to leave his former record label, Five Star Music.
His comments came in response to the controversy surrounding the tragic death of his colleague, Mohbad.
Mohbad, who reportedly suffered intimidation, harassment, and assault by individuals allegedly connected to his former record label boss, Naira Marley, passed away on September 12 at the age of 27.
In an appeal for justice for the late singer, Harrysong urged record label owners to cease mistreating their artists. He shared his personal experience via an Instagram story, recounting the torment and attacks he endured when he sought to depart from Five Star Music.

Harrysong emphasized the need for record labels to abandon the “do or die” mentality, which has led to the mistreatment of young talents. He called for an end to such practices, highlighting the importance of justice for Mohbad. #justiceformohbad
