BBNaija’s Laycon Slams Critic Who Said He Doesn’t Deserve To Be Called A Rapper

Big Brother Naija Lockdown winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon, slams critic who said he doesn’t deserve to be called a rapper.

According to reports, the music industry and its fans have recently been divided as a result of comments made by Grammy-winning singer Wizkid during an interview.

Wizkid believes that the Afrobeat genre of music is the new pop, and that the rap genre is dead.

He stated: “Afrobeats is the new pop, sold two million copies in America off of one song! Even some American artists don’t have a diamond record.

The fight Laycon and the critic known as Sir David Onyemaizu started on Twitter. The latter tweeted that he wonders if Twitter users have ears, adding that only an irresponsible person would refer to Laycon as a rapper.

He stated: Sometimes, you’d wonder if folks on this music Twitter have ears. They are calling rappers with flows & bars and you’re calling Laycon. Must be ment though.

Laycon responded to the tweet by saying that the crirc looks starved. He stated:

“Bro, you look like someone who is starved of every good thing in life. And I don’t know if you’re married or not but you look like someone who begs his wife for sex every time.”

The critic responded to Laycon by telling him to stop corrupting people’s ears and get a job as an influencer.
