Ondo State Police have confirmed that they arrested a woman who injured a 12-year-old boy because he stole meat from a pot of soup.
Funmilayo Odunlami, the state police spokesperson, stated that the woman has been charged in court so that the boy can receive justice.
“It was a good Samaritan who called the police’s attention to the incident which happened in Adebowale area, Ondo road, Ondo state,” Spokesperson person of the state police, Funmilayo Odunlami, said.
In a video which was shared online, the boy was seen crying as bruises and blood were on his body.

Police said the injuries the boy had were injuries he got when the woman used a razor blade to cut him on his arm and back after he was accused of stealing meat from a pot of soup.
Funmilayo said the police had charged the woman in court so the 12-year-old boy who was her maid would get justice.
