Why We Kidnapped Anambra Monarch, Oliver Nnaji, And Burnt Down The Palace – Suspects
A special force has arrested a gang that was behind the kidnap of King Oliver Nnaji, the traditional ruler of Ogwaniocha community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The gang kidnapped the traditional ruler on November 15, 2021, when gunmen invaded his palace and burned the building down.
But no one knows where King Oliver Nnaji is.
On the 31st of December, 2021, the Special Forces of the Nigerian Naval Base, Onitsha, arrested some of the suspects during their operation in Ochan forest camp.
The special forces also confirmed the killing of at least 10 of the gunmen in the forest during a shoot-out.

The Navy special squad paraded two of the suspects, who are identified as Victor Ibenegbu and Egbuna Anyakoha.
“We kidnapped Mr. Igwe because he did not allow us to control the oil proceeds in our community,” Victor Ibenegbu told the security force yesterday.
He added that they do not know where the Igwe (king) is.
