Aare Dele Momodu, a 2011 presidential candidate, has revealed his reasons for opposing the president, Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement on his verified Facebook page, Momodu stated that Buhari’s style of governance is bad, and that it has harmed Nigeria on all fronts.
He claimed that criticising Buhari now is not personal because Buhari is affable when met, but he has a terrible administrative style.
He stated that Nigeria has never been more divided than it is now, as it has been under this Buhari’s government, adding that Buhari has returned Nigeria back to the Stone Age.
He stated that Nigeria’s economy is wretched, while insecurity is at its worst ever in supposed peacetime.
The veteran journalist, who is the founder of Ovation revealed how he got into politics despite not joining a political party.
In 2015, Dele Momodu supported Buhari who runs under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He claims that the PDP is the only viable political party through which serious opposition can hope to depose the APC and send them back to where they came from.
