United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, Resigns 

Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, resigned on Thursday, July 7, after less than three years in office.

His resignation brings an end to an unprecedented political crisis over his future, which had paralyzed the British government.

In a speech delivered at Downing Street, he said, “no one in politics is remotely indispensable”.
