Tragedy Hits UNIPORT, As Final Year Student Gets Burnt To Death
Jennifer Omoerere, a final year student at the University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT), was among three people killed by death in a ghastly accident that occurred on Monday night, June 21, 2022, at Opokuma junction, along East-West Road.
She was also the Vice President of the World Union of Urhobo Students (NUUS).
According to reports, she was on her way from Bayelsa to Port Harcourt, Rivers state, when the accident occurred.
On Wednesday, June 22, the President (Ajuwe) of NUUS Worldwide, Ishokare Ishaku Emuejevoke Justice, confirmed the tragic news.
“It was a dark day for the National Union of Urhobo Students Worldwide on Wednesday.”
