Timothy Adegoke: Court Remands Rahman Adedoyin, Suspects Of OAU Student’s Death

The Osun state high court has ordered the remand of Rahman Adedoyin and six other people who are on trial for the murder of Timothy Adegoke in Ilesa correctional facility.

The presiding judge, who is also the Chief Judge of Osun State, Oyebola Adepele-Ojo, made the order to Tadat during the arraignment of the suspects.

The suspects are facing 11-count charges of conspiracy and murder. although all of them pleaded not guilty.

Their lawyer, Rasheed Adegoke, asked the court to keep them in police custody, but the judge declined.

The court resumes again tomorrow to hear the bail application of one of the defendants, and the trial is expected to start fully next Monday as the presiding judge told the court that she wants a speedy trial.

It has been since November 7, 2021, when OAU masters student Timothy Adegoke went missing.
