“They Won’t Go Unpunished” – Commissioner Says As Osun Police Arrest Couple Who Kill And Bury Their Child On Farm

In Osun State, A 43-year-old man, who is identified as Sanjo, has been handed over to the state police along with his wife.

He and his wife were handed over by the Osun State Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs as they revealed they killed their children and buried them in a shallow grave on their farmland, which is located in the state capital, Osogbo.

The Press Officer of the Ministry in Osogbo, Adereti Bolarinwa, stated that the ministry went after the couples after their case was reported to the Commissioner for women and children’s affairs, Barrister Olubukola Olaboopo, by an unknown person.

While confirming that Sanjo and his wife had been handed over to the state police, Barrister Olubukola Olaboopo revealed that their arrest was determined by the police and the ministry after they were informed that Sanjo had been killing children who had been given birth to by his wife.

The Commissioner of women and child affairs said that the state government will never condone acts of violence, especially child abuse in the state. Making it clear that the perpetrators of the killings will never go unpunished.
