“The South East Governors Are The Ones Causing Insecurities In The Region”- Ifeanyi Ubah

The Young Progressive Party candidate for the November Anambra state governorship poll, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, has called on South East governors to take a proactive approach and not to shy away from the issue of insecurity in the south-east region.

In an interview with BBC, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah accused governors in the south-east region that they are not doing enough on the issue of insecurity in Anambra state.

“Secure our state, it is not to carry one point something billion naira monthly allocation, we don’t need more than 200 million a month to secure Anambra state. We want to secure the state, we want to chase away criminality. I should tell you, I want to accuse the governors that it is they who fund this insecurity, so they will eat a lot of money. If not, securing this state is just a small little thing. ” The senator said.

“If IPOB is disturbing the country, the federal government needs to create a team which will engage with them. I can talk to them and they will listen to me.” Senator Ifeanyi Ubah added
