
In Nigeria, the police have confirmed the death of a journalist who is identified as Tordue Henry Salem (Tordue Salem). He was declared missing on October 13th, 2021.
The police have deposited his body in the mortuary at Wuse General Hospital, Abuja.
Todue Salem is the National Assembly Correspondent for reporters for the Vanguard newspaper.

His disappearance had caused many Nigerians to protest as journalists entered the streets of the nation’s capital and marched to the Nigerian police headquarters to demand that they find him.
News of his death came just two days after the Nigerian House of Representatives demanded a thorough investigation into how the Nigerian journalist went missing.

At today’s press briefing in Abuja, Spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Force, Frank Mba, said it was a car that hit Tordue Salem and the accident most likely led to his death.
