2021 Anambra Governorship candidate, Professor Charles Soludo, says that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) deserve to be heard.
The governorship candidate said this during the Anambra governorship election debate which was shown on Arise TV today, November 1st, 2021.
Soludo was asked a question by one of the presenters. He was asked about his view on the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra in south-east Nigeria, and in reply, Soludo revealed that he had never hidden his position on the proscribed group.
Charles Soludo said that although he believes in a peaceful Nigeria, the disturbance of the seperatist group members can’t be shut down completely. The candidate advised the Nigerian federal government to meet up with them and make agreements.
“You know what they are agitating about? You are either for or against. We need to have a dialogue, bring the IPOB members to a table and discuss the issues that are agitating them, ” Charles Soludo said.
