The talented artist, famous for hits like “Uyo-Meyo,” disclosed that she had been diagnosed with a life-threatening throat infection during the production of her second album, “Tears of the Sun.”

This health scare came not long after Teni had opened up to her fans about her weight-loss journey, revealing a series of challenges on her path to wellness. However, her latest revelation centered on her vocal health, as she experienced episodes of transient voice loss, leading medical professionals to recommend a significant operation to prevent the possibility of permanent voice damage.

In September, Teni was hospitalized after experiencing repeated exhaustion, which was likely related to her throat infection. In a candid moment, she shared a video clip of her journey, including her time in the hospital, with her devoted fan base.
