Police Arrest Teacher Who Beat 19 Month Old Pupil To Death In Delta
In Asaba, Delta state, a teacher was arrested because he beat his one-year-old pupil to death.
The teacher, who is the son of the school proprietress, beat the boy because he was playing with water.
The Spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Dafe Bright, confirmed the report, saying they will charge the suspect with murder or manslaughter.

“The boy fell sick after he flogged him and they rushed him to FMC where he was receiving treatment before he died on Saturday, February 12 around 08:30am.
“The suspect would be charged in court for murder or manslaughter. The advice of the DPP would make us decide what he would be charged for, “the police spokesperson said.”
Edafe also said they have deposited the boy’s body at the mortuary and the investigation is still on.
