
Simi, a popular Nigerian singer, has stated that her colleague Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, deserves “flowers” despite his controversial nature.
Portable made headlines after being captured in a viral video resisting arrest by police officers. He was detained for three days before being arraigned before an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Ifo on a three-count charge of assault and theft of musical equipment.

He was later granted N800,000 bail, but the Magistrate ordered Portable to be remanded at the Ilaro Correctional Centre pending the completion of his bail conditions.

After his release, the Zazu crooner released a new song called “Federal Government Liability.” He boasted in the song about not wearing a prison uniform while incarcerated at Ilaro Correctional Center.
His new song elicited conflicting reactions.
Simi praised Portable’s tenacity, saying it deserved recognition.
She tweeted, “Gotta give Portable his flowers lol.”
