Popular pastor gifts homeless veteran Nollywood actor Kenneth Aguba free accommodation

Chibuzor Chinyere, a pastor in Port Harcourt, has offered Kenneth Aguba free accommodation and medical treatment.

The veteran actor was recently revealed to have been homeless for some time.

Following the news, Chinyere, the senior pastor at Omega Power Ministry, contacted the homeless actor and informed him that he would be housed in one of the ministry’s free estates in Rivers State.

Edochie reacts to viral picture of homeless actor, Kenneth Aguba

The veteran actor was welcomed to Portharcourt in a series of posts shared on the church’s official page on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, while his accommodation was arranged.

“The veteran Nigerian actor Kenneth Aguba who was recently found homeless has been found by the General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, he has been given an accommodation at one of the OPM free estates, he is now at the OPM free hospital for medical checkup. God is great,” the post read.

Aguba went viral on social media after a Twitter user revealed that he was homeless and had been living in a dilapidated building.

Aguba has appeared in over a dozen Nollywood home videos, where he is known for playing comic and’red cap’ chief roles.

Since the viral photos went viral, the Actors Guild of Nigeria has come under fire, with disgruntled fans questioning the Guild’s mandate.

While the AGN has yet to respond to Aguba’s viral photos, Emeka Rollas, its national president, has recently made moves to address crowdfunding for veterans in need.
