Police Arrest Cultists Captured In Viral Video, Håcking A Rival To Dēath At An Eatery In Lagos State [VIDEO]

Jamiu Rasheed, a 22-year-old suspected cultist, was apprehended by operatives of the Lagos state police command after he was caught on CCTV hacking and shooting to death one Akinola Ayegbusi of a rival cult.

According to the command’s image maker, Benjamin Hundeyin, the gory incident occurred on July 7, 2022.

The sueoct and his colleagues are said to have committed the crime at a restaurant in Alapere, Lagos. Jamiu has been a member of the Klansman Confraternity since 2017 and has participated in the killing of two other rival cultists, according to investigations.

The investigation also led to the arrest of the group’s armourer, Sheriff Module, 26, who was found with two locally made pistols, and one other cultist, Emmanuel Samson. Sheriff, who was also a part of the killing, admitted that it was carried out to avenge the death of their leader, who was killed on November 23, 2021 by the Eiye Confraternity.

However, Benjamin stated that efforts are still being made to apprehend other fleeing cultists. At the conclusion of the investigations, suspects will be arraigned.
