Photos From The EndSARS Anniversary At Lekki Tollgate
Some Nigerians gathered at the Lekki tollgate today to celebrate the Endsars anniversary.
Lagos Police arrested six people who came out to protest on the Endsars anniversary of the alleged shooting which happened at Lekki tollgate.
Some of the protesters entered cars and buses to mark a year since the EndSars protest, which happened on October 20, 2020.
Nigerian comedian, Mr. Macaroni, announced on Monday, the 18th of October, that the protest would take place despite the fact that the police had warned Nigerians not to participate in the anniversary.
Popular Nigerian rapper, Falz, also announced on October 20, that a protest would be held at the Lekki Tollgate, and he came out today to lead car procession for the protest.
Some protesters waved flags in cars, others held fliers and posters that carried different messages.
The Lagos Police Department used tear gas to disperse # EndSARS memorial protesters in Lekki Tollgate, and many protesters fled, abandoning their cars and belongings.
