Mayorkun Explains Why His Relationship with His UK Girlfriend Ended

Mayorkun, the Nigerian music sensation, has officially confirmed the end of his relationship with his British girlfriend, Cocainna.

The artist, known for hits like “Cheche,” openly stated that he is currently single and cited that his relationship with Cocainna didn’t work out.

During a recent interview on Cool FM Nigeria, hosted by reality star Tacha, Mayorkun was asked about his relationship status, to which he responded with a simple “No.”

When questioned about his past relationship with Cocainna, Mayorkun explained that life happened, leading to their separation.

Despite parting ways romantically, he emphasized that they maintain a friendly relationship, saying, “We are still cool. It’s just that you meet somebody it works out, you meet somebody it doesn’t work out.”

Mayorkun also addressed the speculation that he has a preference for dating London girls, clarifying that his connection to the city is due to spending a significant amount of time there. He concluded with a nod to his affection for London, saying, “nothing special but London has my heart.”

We recall that Mayorkun and Cocainna had sparked relationship rumors last year after the British model and influencer took the singer on a date in London. The pair eventually confirmed their relationship, but it seems that chapter has now come to a close.
