Man Arrested For Killing His Three Daughters and Dumping Their Bodies In A Freezer in Enugu

Policemen arrests man who murdered his daughters and kept them in deep freezer

On January 4th, 2022, policemen from the Metro Area Command of the State Police Command arrested a 52-year-old man identified as Ifeanyi Amadikwa for murdering his three daughters and dumping them in a damaged deep freezer.

His daughters are identified as 11-year old Chidalum Amadikwa, who is his step-daughter, 8-year old Amarachi Amadikwa and 4-year old Ebubechukwu Amadikwa.

An investigation was done and it showed that the man’s wife, the children’s mother, went to the market with her only son, leaving her daughters at home with their father.

She came back in the evening of the same day and did not find any of her daughters at home.

She searched for them, and while searching, her husband drew her attention to the deep freezer he brought back from his shop on the 2nd of January 2022 and kept on their apartment’s veranda.

Checking the deep freezer, the lifeless bodies of her daughters were found with bruises. They were murdered by their own father.

The police confirmed the report through their spokesperson.

The Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, said their bodies were immediately moved to a hospital, where they were confirmed dead, and deposited in the mortuary for an autopsy and preservation.

After consoling the mother of the children, the spokesperson said that the Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Lawal, assured her that the police would investigate the case thoroughly and ensure that their killer would pay for his crimes.
