A 41-year-old Canada-based Nigerian who is identified as Oghenetega Ufuoma, died a suspicious death in the Manitoba, Canada.

This news was confirmed by Canadian police, the Winnipeg Police Service.

She was murdered and the suspicious murder happened on November 18, 2021, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Man Allegedly Murders 41-Year-Old Nigerian In Canada

The 38-year-old man who is identified as Nevis Carter has been arrested and the police say that they have charged him with manslaughter for Oghenetega Ufuoma’s death.

The Winnipeg Police Service confirmed the murder case in a press release, which was repeased by their spokesperson, Cst. Dani McKinnon.

The police believe that Oghenetega Ufuoma and Nevis Carter went to River Avenue and Osborne Street, where the incident happened.

“The victim was attacked when an argument happened in the bus shelter, which is on the northeast side of River/Osborne.” The police revealed

“We confirmed that when the argument was ongoing, other people who were present in the bus shelter could help with valuable information to assist investigators.” The police added.

The police force is still investigating the case and they are begging the public to provide useful information about it.

The police force also advised people to contact the Homicide Unit phone number anytime they see a murder case or an assault (Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477), 204-986-6508).
