VC leads members of Management to patronise LASU bakery product.

The Lagos State University Bakery is now open for business to the University community and the general public. To mark the official start of business transactions, the Vice Chancellor and visionary of the bakery, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji – Bello, mni, led members of the University Management to patronize the bakery by purchasing and paying for a batch of loaves on Tuesday.

She stated that the bakery is part of her administration’s fourth strategic goal, which is to increase internal revenue generation with the goal of achieving financial sustainability for the university.

To increase product patronage and bakery profitability, she directed that the LASU Bread be sold exclusively on the University Main Campus in Ojo, Lagos, noting that the product is as rich and tasty as any other bread produced in the country.

She thanked the production and sales teams and encouraged them to provide the best service possible to customers.

The Lagos State University Bakery is operated by LASU Ventures and produces three sizes of bread: family, large, and small (students).
