Lagos Police Dismiss Police Officer Who Allegedly Killed An 18 Year Old Girl
The Lagos state police force has dismissed one of their officers who allegedly shot and killed a 18-year-old high school graduate in Ijesha area, Lagos state.
The spokesperson of the police force, Adekunle Ajisebutu, released a statement saying after the Police officer’s orderly room trial, they dismissed him because he played a role in killing Miss Monsurat Ojuade on the 11th of September, 2021.
Lagos state Police force said they are taking the the police officer, who is identified as Sergent Samuel Philips, to court on Friday, the 24th of September.
Before the police officer’s dismissal, reports said thst the police officer allegedly shot the 18 year old high school graduate in her house compound during a police raid on her street.
Lagos state police arrested the police officer who allegedly shot her and he undergoed an in-house trial. While the police officer was undergoing the trial, the police took the victim’s body to an hospital for autopsy.
