Aminat Tajudeen, a 100-level student at Kwara College of Education, slumped and passed out during lectures.
The tragic incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to reports.
Mrs Abibat Zubair, the college’s spokesperson, confirmed the student’s sudden death on Thursday, saying she was preparing for a semester exam when she died.
The student was said to have picked up her matriculation gown on Wednesday in preparation for the ceremony on Thursday when she slumped.

Aminat was rushed to Ilorin General Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. According to Zubair, the lady was remembered during the matriculation on Thursday. She was later buried according to Islamic customs.
