IK Ogbonna And Others Slam Shatta Wale For Insulting Nigerian Artistes

Some Nigerian Celebrities and fans are bashing Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., also known as Shatta Wale for insulting a Nigerian artistes during his concert.

During the Freedom Concert which Shatta Wale and Medikal organized on the 25th of December, Christmas day, the dancehall artist threw shades on a Nigerian artistes and using the ‘F’ word on them.

Shatta Wale also claimed thst he has single-headedly sold out the biggest stadium in Ghana.

It all Happened when Shatta Wale expressed how happy he was to see how his fans turned out in the show, and said his mind, revealing what people had told him before his concert;

“I just want to say my mind, you understand…You know that the majority of people in the Ghanaian music industry are fools.”

Shatta Wale Reveals Who Might Have Shot Him

“They told me that I would not be able to fill my stadium. Ghana let me tell you something, i do not look up to any stupid Nigeria artiste oh!”

“Me I am looking up to you people, it is you guys that are my Nigeria, you guys are my American, you guys are my abroad people.”

Shatta Wale later concluded his speech by using the ‘F’ word on Nigerian artist.

Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna called on Shatta Wale to apologize to Nigerian artistes and called what the dancehall artiste said, a ‘hate speech.’ IK Ogbonge shared video of the speech on his official instagram handle and wrote;

“Mr shattawalenima you are a total and complete disappointment. In a time when we are supposed to grow together and help each other through creative collaborations … ”

“You are supposed to appreciate the Nigerian artist because a win for any Nigerian artist is a win in Africa. How do you want to promote unity with a speech like that? this is very weak from you ”

“Deal with your complex issues and grow up. As an artiste, i have featured in some Ghana movies and I have also worked with amazing, adorable Ghanaians here for Nigeria.”

“You need to totally apologize for #hatespeech,” IK Ogbonna said.
