Ijaw Youths To Hold Candlelight Procession To Honour Sylvester Oromoni
The Ijaw Youth Council is organizing a candlelight procession in memory of Sylvester Oromoni, the 12-year-old boy who died after allegedly being beaten by a group of boys at Dowen College.
Igbifa, the President of the Ijaw Youth Council world-wide (IYC), released a statement saying that he wants all Ijaw youths to hold the candle procession at 7 p.m. today to honor the late 12-year-old.
“We beg everyone to wear black and make those outside Warri observe the candle light in various locations,” the President of the Ijaw Youth Council world-wide (IYC), Timothy Igbifa, said in the statement.
