Gunmen Kidnap Three Students, Injured Many Others In Kaduna State
In Kaduna state, unknown gunmen attacked a Catholic seminary, three students were kidnapped, and many others were injured.
The Gunmen attacked a Catholic seminary called Saint Alberts Seminary in Kagoma town last night, the 11th of October, 2021.
The gunmen entered the seminary, shot randomly, and kidnapped three students while they ran off.
Authorities in Kaduna state have taken the injured individuals to the hospital and are currently searching for the kidnapped students in nearby forests.
This is the most recent gunmen attack in Northern Nigeria. Kidnapping has turned into a common ‘trend’ in Northern Nigeria as gunmen kidnap students for ransom.
Since last December, gunmen have kidnapped about 1,500 students from schools.
Many of the kidnapped students are freed after the kidnappers collect their ransom, but many kidnapped female students from a college in Birnin-Yauri in Kebbi state have not been freed since four months ago.
Armed gunmen are killing and kidnapping students for ransom in Northern Nigeria even though Nigerian security forces are doing everything in their power to fight against them.
