Following a tip from concerned members of the public in the region, the man who is identified as Johnson Monday Achiso was detained in the Ugwuaji area of Enugu Metropolis.

According to the agency’s statement, the suspect, a Togolese, has been accused of repeatedly inflicting terrible harm on his children with a hammer, knife, and rod.
The reasons for his actions could not be determined at the time of filing this report. While the children have been rescued and are being cared for at the NAPTIP Shelter, the suspect is being held at the Agency’s holding center, where he is being interrogated more in order to figure out why he committed such a heinous act.
