Fanta Bility: US Officers Charged With Fatally Shooting 12-Year-Old Girl

American government lawyers have have withdrawn accusations of the murder of a eight year old girl identified as Fanta Bility from two teenagers as they charge three police officers for her death.

The police officers had claimed that it was a shootout between the two teenagers which made them mistakenly shoot the car which Fanta and her two sisters were in, thinking that there were suspects in the car. the incident happened in August last year.

The incident happened after the police officers shot a car wgich was parked park outside where a high school game was taken place in Philadelphia on the 27th of August 2021.

The Police revealed that they thought that it was the People who were shooting that was in their but it was just Fanta Bility.

The 25 bullets which the police shot hit Fanta and her 12-year-old sister and two others.

Reports say that Fanta had died in her mother’s hands.

Prosecutors had first filed murder charges against the 16 and 18 year old back in November saying it was their shooting which made police start to shooting, so they were the ones who caused Fanta death.

Sharon Hill Police Officers Charged With Manslaughter In Fatal Shooting Of 8-Year-Old Fanta Bility

Howevwr they have withdrawn those charges. and now they charge Sharon Hill police officers; Devon Smith, Sean Patrick Dolan, and Brian James Devaney for involuntary manslaughter, voluntary manslaughter, and reckless endangerment.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said;

“The officers after they heard gunshots, they shot the wrong target and the wrong direction to a group of people and they will answer for their actions”.

Lawyer of Fanta Bility’s family described Fanta Bility as the kind of person who made people happy just by looking at her

However, the lawyers of the three police officers said in a statement;

“It was the armed and violent criminals who turned high school football game to a crime scene Because of the death of an innocent child.”
