The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5, Mercy Eke, has sparked reactions online after her new reality television program, ‘Mercy What Next?’ premiered on DSTV.
In a short video making the rounds on social media, Mercy Eke probably corrected an impact about food choices for people living in Lagos.
In her words, you must possess your afang soup; she says no, I must also possess the pepper soup; I say no, you do not do this; that is not how we appear in Lagos.
However, many of us were unable to know what she was saying due to her accent.
This is not the first time Mercy Eke has been criticized for faking her accent, everytime fans criticize her because of her accent, he becomes unbothered about it.
Many social media users panned Mercy Eke’s video, advising her to always express herself without feigning an accent to prevent backlash.
