DJ Cuppy (born Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola) is a 29-year-old Nigerian Disc Jockey, Record Producer, and Musician from Lagos.
In 2014, she received her bachelor’s degree from King’s College London, and the following year, she received her master’s degree in music business from New York University. In 2019, she established the Cuppy Foundation.

Childhood, Education, and Early Life
Cuppy spent six years in Ilupeju before relocating to Ikeja and enrolling at Grange School, Ikeja. She moved to London for her GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and A-Levels when she was 13 years old.
Cuppy earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from King’s College London in 2014. Cuppy has been DJing since she was a teenager and had established herself as one of Africa’s top DJs when she was chosen as a DJ for the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2014.
Cuppy effortlessly blended club and curriculum, earning a Music Business Masters Degree from New York University in 2015 while interning at Jay-Roc Z’s Nation label.
Cuppy has enrolled in the University of Oxford to pursue a master’s degree in African Studies as of October 2021.
DJ Cuppy’s career is divided into three parts. She performs as a singer, a DJ, and a music producer.
She began DJing as a hobby in college, but in 2014, she released her debut mixtape, “House of Cuppy,” which featured afrobeats from musicians such as Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Kcee, Dr. Sid, Chidinma, and others. In honor of her college graduation, the mixtape was first released in Lagos and then in London.

DJ Cuppy is Femi Otedola’s second daughter and her father’s second child. Femi Otedola had a daughter with a former lover before marrying Cuppy’s mother, Nana Otedola. Temi, Cuppy’s younger sister, and Fewa, Cuppy’s brother, are his siblings. Temi, Cuppy’s younger sister, is an actress who is engaged to Mr. Eazi, a Nigerian musician.
