Davido Slams His Cousin ‘Dele Adeleke’ For Planning To Contest Against Senator Adeleke

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido Adeleke, has criticized his cousin, Nigerian politician Dele Adeleke, for declaring his intention to run against his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, in the upcoming Osun State governorship election.

Dele, who is the nephew of Senator Adeleke, became an aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), joining the Osun 2022 gubernatorial race.

Dele Adeleke, who is also a financial expert, was the Returning Officer at the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun, where he was responsible for marshalling points to defend Senator Adeleke at both the Tribunal and INEC to the Supreme Courts, where the judgment favoured the declared winner, incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

After he announced his intention of contesting against his uncle, Senator Adeleke, he was condemned by his cousin on Twitter.

The celebrity warned people of Osun state to be careful of “fakes”, claiming that his cousin has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own.

In Osun State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced that all the aspirants in the upcoming gubernatorial election are highly qualified to govern Osun State and that all crises in the state have been settled.
