SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, stated that six of the domestic staff were released after extensive questioning, while the chef and nanny were detained.

It was previously revealed that the Nanny was with late Ifeanyi and that the Chef came to join them before the heinous incident.

The Nanny was said to have moved slightly away from the phone to take a call. She couldn’t find Ifeanyi when she returned and assumed he was with the Chef, but the Chef said he had left Ifeanyi with her.

They began frantically searching for Ifeanyi throughout the house for nearly 20 minutes until a security guard spotted him in the pool.

Nobody knew how the boy got into the pool. Davido and Chioma were said to have returned from a trip in Ibadan, Oyo State, to the shocking news.
