The family of the late Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College who died in the year 2021, said they are ready to go through another autopsy as they rejected the autopsy report by the Lagos State Police Command, which said that he died a natural death.

This development came as the Lagos state Commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu, said there was no evidence to show that Sylvester was tortured, bullied, or that he consumed any poisonous substance before his death.

In a statement, Hakeem Odumosu revealed this on the update of the police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 12-year-old Dowen College student.

But the family of Sylvester has rejected the statement.

In an Instagram live which popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, hosted with Nollywood actor Tonto Dike, the aunty and sister of Sylvester called for the autopsy result which the Lagos state police based their conclusion on as they said it was an audio autopsy.

His sister, Annabel Oromoni, said they did not see the copy of the autopsy report themselves, and she called for the Lagos state government to make the document public.

“Why are they in so much of a hurry to open the school? Where is the document from the second autopsy that they said they did? Where is it? The pathologists needed to come out to defend the result. ” She demanded

So the family does not have the right to know? We do not have a copy of this so-called “autopsy.” Annabel said.

Meanwhile, Sylvester Oromoni’s aunty, who was also in the live session, asked why the government is in a hurry to allow Dowen College to open, adding that something is going on and the school needs to be investigated.

The family said the statement from the Lagos state government, which said that Sylvester Oromoni died from a natural cause, was different from the autopsy result from Warri, which Consultant Pathologist, Doctor Clement Vhriterhire, who works in Central Hospital, Warri, carried out, which said that;
