BBNaija Reunion: “I never insulted Adekunle’s mum” – Doyin Vs Fans On Social Media

Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, a former Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemate, has clarified that her claim that her teammate, Adekunle, owes his mother an apology was not meant as an insult to his mother.

According to reports, Doyin remarked during the ‘Level Up’ reunion show episode 6 aired on Monday night that Adekunle owes his mother an apology because he threw her home training to the gutters.

Her statement sparked outrage on social media, with many criticizing her for bringing Adekunle’s mother into their feud.

However, in a tweet on Tuesday morning, Doyin explained that her comment on the show was not meant to be an insult to Adekunle’s mother, as many had suggested.

She stated that her remark implies that Adekunle’s mother trained him well, but he abandoned the teaching, and thus owes her an apology.

The reality personality urged people who misunderstood her to enroll in English classes again.

Doyin stated,

“I never insulted his mum. My words were “he owes his mum an apology for throwing her home training in the gutter”. In other words, she trained him but he neglected the training, so he owes her an apology.

“If English is your problem, this is a good chance to go back to school.”
