Unknown Bandits attacked a train which was travelling from Kaduna state to Abuja Yesterday, the 20th of October, 2021.
People who were in the train revealed their experience to the media, stating that God saved theur lives.
Because of the incident, the Nigeria Railway Corporation suspended train services across Nigeria because of security concerns.
the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) announced on their website on their decision in suspending train services until further notice. They announced the news this afternoon.
Details of the incident is not yet clear, but local reports said that the unknown bandits used explosives to attack the train.
Pictures from the incident were shared online. the photos showed the damaged train with its windows broken and holes dented on the train’s body. The railway was cut off and the reports claim the explosives were used to cut off the railway.
In a video which was shared online and gone viral, a security officer was seen inspectinh the railway where the attack happened.
“This is a complete cut-off, it was only God that saved us. look at it, look at it.” a voice was heard in thw video.
