BRT Incident: All You Need To Know About The Kidnapping Of Bamise Ayanwola [Photos]
According to the police, the incident happened on February 26, 2022, when Bamise Ayanwola boarded the BRT bus from Chevron bus stop, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
The BRT was going to Oshodi at about 7:30pm in the evening.
The young lady, who is a fashion designer, also did a video with her friend when she sensed that something was about to happen to her.
In the video that she made, she spoke in Yoruba, saying, “it was three men and one woman that were in the bus. The woman sat at the back. ”
Zooming-in the phone camera, she said, “That is the number of the bus, just in case. Please pray for me.”

Still, in the video, the friend who she was talking to advised her to drop by Oworonshoki, but nobody knew what happened after that time.
Reports said that the driver of the Lagos state Bus Rapid Transit System allegedly kidnapped Bamise Ayanwola.
The Lagos state police command released a statement saying that they had deposited Bamise Ayanwola’s dead body in the mortuary.
The spokesperson for the police command said they would also conduct an autopsy on the dead body.
“We saw his body lying on top of Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community, Lagos Island. The corpse is now in the morgue at Mainland Hospital, Yaba, for autopsy.
“We also contacted the family and they have identified the dead body,” police said.
