America’s Got Talent contestant Jane Marczewski, who is popularly known by her stage name, Nightbirde, is dead.
Her family confirmed that Nightbirde died after she battled with cancer.
She had gathered millions of followers across the world after she competed on the NBC show “America’s Got Talent” because of her hit song and performance, which touched both the hearts of the judges and viewers alike.
“We, her family, are devastated by her passing and unimaginable loss,” the Marczewski family said in a statement.
Her family said she fought cancer for four years and died on February 19, 2022.
It was her song named “It’s Ok,” which she sang during her audition for the 2021 edition of “America’s Got Talent,” that made people notice her.
We recall it was not just her performance that touched people.
We recall then, that she told the judges that she battles cancer, which has spread to her lungs, spine, and liver.
She further made an impression on the judges with her positivity and outlook on life when she told them that:
“You could not wait until life was too hard anymore before you decided to be happy,”
Simon Cowell had pressed the “Golden Buzzer” to take her straight to the next round of the competition, but sadly she had to pull out because of the cancer.
