AFCON 2022: Femi Otedola Pledges $250,000 To Super Eagles
Femi Otedola, a Nigerian billionaire and businessman, reveals that he has $250,000 in his bank account and he wishes to give the Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, if they bring home the African Cup of Nations trophy.
The billionaire pledged the league in the light of the success of the national team in the ongoing AFCON 2021 tournament taking place in Cameroon.
Other public figures who have promised to reward the Super Eagles include the founder of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, who promised to reward 50 million naira to the league if they keep up the good work of bringing togetherness and happiness to Nigerians by bringing home the AFCON trophy.
If Super Eagles win the AFCON tournament this year, it would be the 4th time they have won, as Nigeria previously won in 1980, 1994, and 2013.

The football game began on January 9th, 2022, and since then the Super Eagles have played three times, winning all three matches.
In the first match, they played against Egypt, and they won 1-0. In the second match, they played against Sudan, and they won 3-1. In the third match, they played against Guinea-Bissau, and they won 2-0.
