Ogun State Police Arrest Couple Who Were Found With Fresh Human Body Parts

Ogun State Police Command has arrested a couple who were in possession of fresh human parts.

This came days after the Ogun state command arrested three young boys who killed the girlfriend of their friend for a money ritual.

The police, in a statement, said they arrested the couple after the traditional ruler of Leme Community, the community where they live, Chief Moshood Ogunwolu, alerted the police after one of their co-tenants complained that a bad odour was coming from their room.

As they had the information, the DPO Kemta Division, CSP Adeniyi Adekunle and other detectives searched the room and discovered a plastic bucket that contained fresh human parts.

According to the statement, the couple confessed that they are herbalists and that it was a boy named Michael who gave them the human parts, which included hands, breasts, and other body parts.

The commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, had ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the Homicide Section of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for closer investigation.

The Commisioner of Police vowed that anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in a crime will face the wrath of the law.
