How A Kano Girl Was Kidnapped And Murdered By Her School Teacher
The Kano state police command released a statement yesterday, on the 20th of January, 2022, saying that a school teacher identified as Abdulmalik Tanko abducted and murdered his student, 5 year old Hanifa Abubakar
“Sometime on the 04/12/2021 at about 20:30hrs, a report was received from a resident of Dakata Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State, that one Hanifa Abubakar, ‘f’, aged 5 years old, was kidnapped and a ransom of six million naira (N6,000,000.00) was demanded”, the Kano state police command said in the statement, which was said by the spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa.
According to sources and Hanifa’s family, the teacher who kidnapped her was among the first people who came to console her parents after the abduction on December 4, 2021.
5-year-old Hanifa was kidnapped by her school teacher in Kano state, and the teacher later demanded 6 million naira, but he later killed her because she recognised him.

Kano government shuts school where kidnapped five-year old pupil was buried
The family of five-year-old Hanifa Abubakar are calling for justice.
People of the Kawaji area of Kano state are in shock after they discovered the dead body of Hanifa, who was kidnapped on the 4th of December, 2021, as she was returning from Islamic school with her friends.
Reports of Hanifa’s kidnap touched many people on social media at the time as they saw photos of her.
On Thursday, police discovered the remains of Hanifa in Northwest Preparatory School in the Tudun Murtala area of Kano City, a school which she attends, and they arrested three people over the case, including the school teacher.
