President Buhari Reacts To The 21-Storey Building Collapse In Ikoyi

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed sadness over the 21-story building that collapsed, which killed people in Ikoyi, Lagos, South West Nigeria.

The Special Adviser on Media to the President, Femi Adesina, released a statement, sympathizing with the  whose family members died in the building collapse.

“President Buhari commiserates with families who have lost their loved ones in the 21-story building that collapsed in Lagos state, while some of them are still trapped in the building.” Special Adviser on Media to the president, Femi Adesina, said.

“President Buhari shares the sad moment with Nigerians and the state government of Lagos State,” he added.

President Muhammadu Buhari advised authorities to make more efforts in rescue operations and added that emergency personnel, like hospitals, should provide all the necessary support to save the lives of the people who were rescued from the collapsed building.
